Spike is a gentle boy who came to 4Paws from the Baltimore city shelter.
Spike is in need of a foster or adoptive home where he can receive the attention and love he deserves. His foster or adopter should allow him a little extra time to relax and come out of his shell.
He arrived at the shelter with an injury to his left eye. 4Paws had him examined by a specialist who found that he has a skull depression of unknown origin around that eye -- possibly from a blow, a car accident, perhaps a birth defect -- as well as having a torn eyelid. 4Paws took care of his eye surgery and while that eye is smaller than the other and is on a slant due to the skull depression, the doctor found it to be functional and so his left eye vision was saved.
His date of birth is August 2013. He has been neutered, is current on vaccinations, tested negative for FIV and FELV, and has been micro chipped.
